About Us

Pitter Patter Playhouse initially began at Lanyon Road, Playing Place where we opened our doors to our very first child.

This is where we built our foundation and found our feet. It was exciting to meet new families and create the beginning of some wonderful new relationships.

Chloe and Maddie are the founders of their beautiful nursery

The idea merely stemmed from a conversation in the car in 2016. Their dreams quickly became a reality when Chloe’s dad offered them his converted double garage which they transformed into a captivating and welcoming childminding setting.

They quickly outgrew Lanyon Road and welcomed the opportunity to take on a slightly larger and more independent setting on the outskirts of Feock in March 2020.

Maddie and Chloe are now proud to have fulfilled their lifelong dream of owning their own nursery and look forward to the future of Pitter Patter Playhouse.

Our beautiful setting is found in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) which is located just 1 mile from the A39 at Playing Place Truro, less than a 5 minute drive.

We are a small, personal nursery which Ofsted best described as “one big hug!”

I’m so in love with everything that Pitter Patter does for my son. He loves Chloe, Maddie and Amy, he skips in with a smile on his face, and waves goodbye.

They give him the comfort he needs when he needs it and encourage him to grow and explore with a new adventure everyday. I know he’s getting the very best care, life and learning experiences available in the county.

As soon as I saw the setting, I knew it was right for us But was still very scared. My mind was put at ease very quickly, my little boy Settled within a week and Has so much fun at pitter patter playhouse. He is constantly talking about Chloe and Maddie at home so I know that he’s got a really good bond with the girls, he gets to do so many fun things that we wouldn’t have the time to do with him at home.

He’s a really wild little boy and for me, nurturing his love for nature was a massive thing and I love how pitter patter Playhouse do that for him. I would recommend this setting to anyone.
