Our Ethos

Our curriculum is based on real life experiences through regular outings at our small, personal Nursery.

Teaching children about day to day safety, the world around them and learning to live life full of adventure and curiosity is extremely important.

Role play ideas such as going to the park or shop can be followed on from the real life experience of actually going to these places.

Tell Me More

We plan activities based on events and around the children’s interests to then expand on areas that we believe children need extra support in. We are able to do this by going on outings, utilising our garden or using the setting and confidently incorporate all areas of the EYFS by offering learning experiences that are not confined to one building or room.

Why is our ethos so important?

Our ethos inspires us to communicate with children and develop their language by talking about what they can see, smell & feel within the world around them. It allows them to express themselves in more ways than one; to physically move and explore in different ways, to prepare themselves for leaving the setting and develop their self confidence in new surroundings whilst building relationships of trust and kindness between adults and their peers.
